Auvernier Jazz Festival, Switzerland

The history of the Auvernier Jazz Festival begins with a passion for music and a magical place. The current director and founder, Jean Martin Peer, wanted to create a new event dedicated to Jazz in a privileged environment that puts the audience in direct contact with artists of international renown.  Held in Zurich, Switzerland, this year, 21 Icons’ Adrian Steirn will spend a weekend at the festival as a representative of South Africa and will share his experience in developing the 21 Icons series. Included in the festival’s lineup is 21 Icons Season 1 star, Hugh Masekela.
